Granular fertilizer packaging machine
The core performance of a granular fertilizer packaging machine depends on two key technologies: feeding method and weighing technology. The feeding method determines the flow rate and controllability of material entering the packaging bag, while the weighing technology determines the metering accuracy and packaging speed. Understanding the principles and selection criteria of these two technologies is fundamental to fully utilizing the performance of the granular fertilizer packaging machine and achieving efficient and accurate packaging.
The granular fertilizer packaging machine is specifically designed for the physical characteristics of granular materials, such as good flowability and low dust content. This series of products utilizes the material's own weight and good flowability, employing either a weighing hopper or a suspended weighing method. The equipment consists of a weighing body, feeder, weighing hopper, discharge hopper, pneumatic bag clamp, sensor, weighing control instrument, and electronic control system. A scientifically sound and appropriately matched feeding method and weighing technology selection allows the equipment to achieve maximum packaging speed while ensuring packaging accuracy.
Equipment Structure
From the perspective of feeding and weighing technology, the core structure of a granular fertilizer packaging machine can be divided into the following functional units:
(I) Feeding Execution Unit: Includes a pneumatic arc-shaped gate feeder or a vibrating feeder. Material in the packaging scale hopper is fed in stages via sensors controlling the pneumatic arc-shaped gate or vibrating feeder. A two-stage feeding method is adopted—fast feeding first to improve efficiency, and then switching to slow precision feeding when approaching the target value to ensure accuracy. Real-time feedback signals from sensors control the start and stop of the feeding mechanism.
(II) Weighing Sensing Unit: Includes a high-precision weighing sensor (imported component), a weighing hopper, and a weighing control instrument. Depending on the machine model, weighing can be done using a weighing hopper (material first enters the weighing hopper for weighing before being filled into the bag) or a suspended weighing method (material directly enters the packaging bag and is measured by the sensor).
(III) Control Decision Unit: Includes a PLC controller and a weighing control instrument. The PLC receives sensor signals, executes control programs, processes data, and outputs control commands. The weighing control instrument displays weighing data in real time and communicates with the PLC. (iv) Execution feedback unit: including pneumatic bag clamps, material hoppers and other actuators. Each actuator receives control commands from the PLC to complete the corresponding action, and the position and weight signals fed back by the sensors form a closed-loop control circuit.
Application of equipment in production line
Granular fertilizer packaging machines are used in the final product packaging stage of fertilizer production lines. The equipment seamlessly integrates with the front-end hopper, elevator, rear-end conveyor, and sealing machine to form a complete automated packaging production line.
Equipment troubleshooting
Unstable metering accuracy: Check if the material is uniform and if the silo level is stable. Clean dust from the sensor surface and check for loose components. Adjust the feeding speed and add a buffer device to reduce material impact. Recalibrate the weighing system using standard weights and re-calibrate the parameters.
Abnormal sensor signal: Clean the sensor surface to remove adhering material. Check if the sensor is installed horizontally. Tighten the sensor terminals. Check if the sensor is damp.
Feeding control malfunction: Check if the air supply pressure is within the range of 0.4-0.8 MPa. Check if the solenoid valve is damaged. Check if the sensor feedback signal is normal.
