Advanced Methods for Stable and Efficient with Double Roller Press Granulators Production Technology

2026-01-28

To ensure the stability and improve the operating efficiency of the double roller press granulator production technology, the core focus is on four aspects: raw material pretreatment, precise equipment control, daily maintenance and support, and process closed-loop optimization.  This approach prevents malfunctions at the source, achieving simultaneous improvements in granulation yield and stability, making it suitable for large-scale production of organic and compound fertilizers.Raw material pretreatment is fundamental.  Strict control of material moisture content (20%-25% for organic fertilizers, 5%-8% for compound fertilizers) is crucial. Particle size should be screened to ≤3mm and mixed uniformly to avoid agglomeration and impurities, preventing material sticking to the roller surface and machine blockage.  Add binders as needed to improve material formability and reduce the return rate of rejected material.

Precise control of the fertilizer production machine operation is essential. Adjust the roller gap (0.2-0.5mm), main motor speed, and roller pressure according to material characteristics to maintain uniform force distribution on the roller surface, preventing uneven wear and inconsistent particle size.  Using variable frequency speed control ensures smooth start-up and shutdown, reducing equipment impact and guaranteeing continuous operation.

Daily maintenance is key. Before each shift, inspect components such as the roller surface, bearings, and gearbox, promptly cleaning any accumulated material and replacing worn roller shells. During operation, monitor current and temperature, immediately stopping the machine for troubleshooting if abnormalities occur. Regularly lubricate transmission components, tighten bolts, and keep spare parts for wear-prone components to reduce downtime due to malfunctions.

Process closed-loop optimization involves a return material crushing and screening system to re-crush and reuse unqualified particles, improving raw material utilization. Establish a production data log to record material parameters, equipment operating conditions, and finished product indicators, continuously optimizing parameter ratios to adapt to the granulation needs of different raw materials.

Through these measures, the particle formation rate can be effectively improved (≥90%), reducing equipment failure rates and raw material loss, ensuring stable and efficient granulation processes, and meeting the needs of continuous production lines.
