What should be paid attention to in the normal maintenance of organic fertilizer equipment

2025-07-17

Organic fertilizer equipment should maintain high efficiency and low fault operation for a long time, and daily maintenance must be done by "daily inspection, weekly maintenance, monthly maintenance, and quarterly repair". It can be summarized into the following seven key precautions:

1. Lubrication management: Moving parts such as bearings, gears, and chains must be filled with clean lithium-based grease or molybdenum disulfide grease on a periodic basis to ensure good sealing; if the oil temperature rises or abnormal noise is found, stop the machine for inspection immediately.

2. Fastener inspection: Before handing over the shift every day, use a wrench to spot-check bolts, nuts, pulleys, latches and other loose parts, especially wheel hoops and flip knife bolts that are newly installed or vibrated for a long time, and tighten them in time if they are loose.

3. Replacement of wearing parts: Check the wear of blades, liners, scrapers, screens, belts, and chains every week, and replace them immediately when the replacement size specified by the manufacturer is reached to avoid secondary damage caused by "disease" operation.

4. Cleaning and anti-corrosion: Clean the wet materials and dust adhering to the hopper, cylinder, and turning knife at the end of each shift; when parked outdoors for a long time, apply anti-rust oil to the exposed metal surface and cover it with rainproof cloth to prevent corrosion.

5. Parameter calibration: Calibrate the temperature, speed, pressure, and belt tension once a quarter to keep the equipment in the recommended working conditions of the manufacturer; record the data after adjustment and form a file for easy traceability.

6. Annual overhaul: The organic fertilizer production line should be fully overhauled once a year in the off-season: dismantle and inspect the bearings, replace the gear oil of the reduction box, level the equipment foundation, and apply the anti-corrosion coating to ensure that the machine can run at full load when it is turned on in the next year.

Adhering to the "seven steps" can not only extend the life of the equipment by more than 30%, but also reduce the sudden failure rate and ensure the continuous and stable production of organic fertilizer.
