Causes of clogging of crushers during fertilizer processing

Clogging is one of the common failures of the grinder in the manufacturing of npk fertilizer. There may be problems with the machine design, but more are caused by improper use of the shredder.

(1) The feed rate is too fast and the load increases, causing the fertilizer crusher to block. During the feeding process of the organic fertilizer production line, you should always pay attention to the large deflection angle of the ammeter pointer. If it exceeds the rated current, it indicates that the motor is overloaded, and the motor will be burned out for a long time.
When this happens, you should immediately reduce or close the material door, or you can change the way of feeding, and control the amount of feed by increasing the feeder. There are two types of feeders: manual and automatic. The user should choose the appropriate feeder according to the actual situation.
Due to the high speed of the crusher, the large load, and the strong fluctuation of the load. Therefore, the current of the crusher is generally controlled at about 85% of the rated current.

(2) The outlet pipe is not smooth or the feeding is too fast, which will block the air outlet of the pulverizer. Improper matching with conveying equipment will cause the outlet pipe to be blocked after the air is weakened or no air. After the fault is found out, the feed port should be cleared first, the mismatched conveying equipment should be changed, and the feed volume should be adjusted to suit the processing of NPK fertilizer granulator, so as to make the equipment operate normally.

(3) Hammer fragments, aging, closed or broken screen holes, and too high water content of the crushed materials will block the crusher. The broken and severely aged hammers should be updated regularly, the crusher should be kept in good working condition, and the screen should be checked regularly. The moisture content of crushed materials should be less than 14%. This can not only improve the production efficiency, but also make the crusher not blocked, and enhance the reliability of the crusher.
