The roller press granulator plays an important role in the granulation stage of NPK fertilizer production line. Because of the low price, convenient use and maintenance, and low operating cost of the roller granulator, it is favored by small fertilizer plant.
Raw material for the roller press granulator production line
The roller press granulator has a wide range of raw materials and can be used in the processing of various NPK fertilizer production lines. The materials which can be used for extrusion granulation are: ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, urea, calcium nitrate, zinc sulfate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium silicate, phosphorus pentoxide and the like.
Granulation processing of NPK fertilizer production line
The granulation of the roller press granulator is a process in which the volume of the material is reduced and the density is increased by mechanical extrusion. In this process, the material is pressed into the narrow slit of the pair of rolls and finally pressed into pellets. The roller press granulator granulates the fertilizer by physical extrusion, avoiding the adverse reaction of the fertilizer in the production, and retaining the raw material characteristics well. At the same time, the temperature of the granulation process is not significantly increased, and the NPK fertilizer production line can be freed from drying and cooling. Therefore, the fertilizer plant saves a lot of energy consumption and is beneficial to the production of small fertilizer plants.

Large and medium-sized manufacturing and processing enterprises generally use large-scale roller granulator, and large-scale roller granulator is equipped with hydraulic feeding devices, which is the hydraulic roller granulator of our factory. The hydraulic roller granulator can reduce the return of raw materials in the extrusion granulation and improve the granulation quality. However, the hydraulic feeding device of the hydraulic roller granulator has high cost, complicated structure, and is troublesome in use and maintenance. Small fertilizer plants generally choose small roller press granulator, which is cost-effective, low in price and convenient in maintenance. The roller press granulator production line is simple and easy to maintain.
