The roll extrusion granulator is the key equipment for compound fertilizer granulation. The working principle:
The work of the roll extrusion granulator mainly consists of two parts: 1. Extrusion. 2. Granulation. Extrusion: The dry material is agglomerated under pressure into a dense and hard mass (cake), which is called extrusion process. In this process, the principle of intermolecular forces in physics is utilized to allow the extruded molecules to freely combine into molecules of appropriate spatial density. Granulation: The extruded cake is then crushed and sieved to become granules, called the granulation process. After strict extrusion and granulation, our company's counter-roller granulator has a utilization rate of more than 87%. There are two types of extrusion: front discharge and side discharge. The prepared material is poured from the top of the roll extrusion granulator. The tank has a vertical auger. Through the rotation of the auger, the material is forcibly sent to the bottom of the two rolls to squeeze, the two rolls rotate relative to each other, so that the material sent into a cake, the cake into the granulator is broken by the rotating knife row, the broken material enters the granulator,the particles and a portion of the powdery material are sieved by rolling the knife row into a vibrating screen. Qualified particles are sent to the outside. The sifted powdery material is re-rolled back to the raw material bin for secondary rolling, and the magnitude of the pressing force can be controlled by the hydraulic system according to the granulation needs. By changing the groove form of the roll surface, materials such as sheets, strips, and flat balls can be obtained.
